Jon Block

Jon Block is the President of Block Properties LLC, a real estate development company based in Chestnut Hill, Mass.  Block Properties owns and operates apartment buildings in Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, and Everett and is currently developing the 350-unit "Second and Vine" project in Everett.

Rob Burns

Rob Burns is the Co-Founder and President of Night Shift Brewing, Inc. in Everett, MA. Night Shift has grown from one of the nation's smallest to a top 100 craft brewery in the country. Rob also sits on the board of the state's Brewers Guild and resides with his family in the City of Everett.

Matt Grogan

Matt, originally from Jamaica Plain, attended Buckingham Browne & Nichols school and then Union College and received a BA in American History.  In 2013 he joined the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority in the Transportation Department managing various events and worked on establishing the South Boston Consolidated Shuttle program in the Seaport area.  In 2018 he joined Encore Boston Harbor as Manager of Limousine Services as part of the opening team eventually working his way to Director of Front Services, overseeing all Transportation and numerous departments in the Hotel such as valet, bell, & door.

Vineet Gupta

Vineet Gupta is the Director of Planning for the Boston Transportation Department. His focus on ambitious vision backed by project realization has helped transform Boston’s mobility landscape over the last two decades.  He led Boston’s recently published citywide transportation plan, Go Boston 2030, it’s national award-winning Complete Streets Guidelines, and it’s Zero Emission Vehicle Roadmap. His team designs and implements the transformation of major corridors with the installation of bike and bus priority lanes; repurposes surplus street space into pedestrian plazas, and creates slow-street zones to calm traffic.  He is currently focused on quick-build tactical interventions for bike lanes, linking ride-hail and ride-share services to Boston’s subway backbone by installing a network of mobility hubs, and looking at new ways to manage street curb space.

Dan Lee

Dan Lee is the Division President of Quarterra after opening the Boston office in 2018.  He is responsible for sourcing development opportunities and executing on the construction, lease-up, and disposition of Class-A multifamily projects throughout New England.  Quarterra started operations in 2011 and is a top-10 national multifamily developer with a $17 billion pipeline.

Chris Legocki  

Chris Legocki is a Director for Greystar Development Services in the Northeast region. In this role, Chris oversees the development of ongoing mixed-use projects and focuses on acquiring strategically located opportunities for the company. Prior to joining Greystar, Chris managed the acquisition and development of large mixed-use projects in the Boston area, and acquired over $250M of value-add properties along the East Coast. Chris received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester.

 

City of Everett

Jay Monty  

Jay Monty is the lead Transportation Planner for the City of Everett having held the position since 2015. Jay is responsible for developing and carrying out the transportation vision of Everett Mayor Carlo DeMaria that includes an efficient multi-modal transportation system and reduction in automobile dependence for City residents. Besides designing and implementing the "pop-up" bus lane that gained national attention in 2017, Jay is continuing to retro-fit Everett's streets for better bus service with other elements of Bus Rapid Transit as well as managing the transportation partnership with Encore resorts as they implement major infrastructure improvements and shuttle service for patrons and employees. In addition to transit, Jay is working to implement high quality bicycle infrastructure including separated bike lanes on Rte 99, extension of the Northern Strand Community Path and the implementation of bike sharing systems.

Prior to coming to the City of Everett, Jay was a transportation analyst at the USDOT Volpe Center and prior to that a highway engineer at the consulting firm VHB. Jay has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech and M.A. in Urban Planning from Tufts University.

John Tocco

John Tocco specializes in solving complex, highly regulated, multi-jurisdictional challenges.  His career has been dedicated to local, national, and international Government relations, most recently by bringing Wynn Resorts latest project Encore Boston Harbor to Boston. Having lived in Washington, DC, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and now Boston, John is a native Massachusetts resident with deep ties in the local, political, and economic landscape. He was recognized as one of Boston Business Journal’s “Top 40 under 40” in 2018.

Andrea Leary is a principal and co-founder of NorthEase Consulting Group. Andrea specializes in the development of public-private partnerships to support improved access and congestion reduction, and economic development through transportation demand management (TDM). She oversees the fiscal management, policy development and strategic planning for Lower Mystic TMA.

Olivia Saccocia

Olivia Saccocia joined NorthEase Consulting Group as a Program and Marketing Coordinator for the Lower Mystic TMA in June 2022.

After graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in Psychology, she traveled to Copenhagen for several months which sparked her curiosity for urban transportation. Now back in Massachusetts, she is excited to enter the field of TDM. Prior to joining the NorthEase team, Olivia completed internships with several nonprofits, including The March of Dimes and Green Streets Initiative.
