Learn more about the impact of ferries on transportation in Boston going as far back as 1631 and see how the MBTA is expanding ferry service today to meet the modern-day challenges of congestion, subway service shutdowns, and sustainability. Boston Harbor Ferry Dock Tour with MBTA and Seaport Ferry
Hop aboard the ferry with the MBTA and Seaport Ferry for a 90-minute boat ride to learn about the existing and future ferry services in Boston. We’ll visit key docks in the Boston Harbor and Mystic River.
Last year, we hosted a webinar on the past, present, and future of ferry operations and we asked water transit experts, changemakers, and ferry operators how ferries and water transit can shape our region’s transportation and connect our coastal communities. This year, they’re going to show us.
Guest Speakers:
Dave Perry, Director of Ferry Operations, MBTA
Seaport Ferry
Registration required. Space is limited.
